HISTORY
This video tells my journey in art from childhood until 2025.
BIOGRAPHY

My artistic trajectory began in the 1980s, when I enrolled in an art school in São Paulo, Brazil, in order to improve the talents I had brought with me since childhood. During this period, some symbols, which would appear in all my work.
From monochromatic drawings and color canvases, my work has matured over the years, symbols have taken the shapes of flowers, noses, and tribals, and I have become interested in new techniques, in addition to oil and acrylic. My brushing skills became more tactile and I started carving out of sheet wood.
In the second decade of the 2000s, ceramics became part of my repertoire and the primary symbols of my art gained three-dimensionality. Noses, flowers and tribals brought my artistic truth out through contact with clay.
In between, I worked my ass of in advertising agencies and then as a director of photography for television, making money to finance my art.
However, for my precious look, the separate materials were not communicating the plenitude of the art, so wood was added to the ceramic work, the tribals started to be carved in fine wood, as well as the bases of the pieces. A short time later, steel came to complete this process, bringing the finish I was looking for. Screws are polished, transformed and added to the work.
The materials used come from wood leftovers from luthiers, or fallen branches from trees, or even from leftovers from civil construction. In this sustainable way, I managed to incorporate a variety of materials into the final art.
I feel that now after so many years, all elements fell into place, its a life search.
